The cooling bed is an auxiliary equipment that has a great influence on the straightness and surface quality of the stainless steel tube. The cooling bed of the heat treatment production line has the following four categories.
(1) Step-by-step cooling bed: cooling evenly, running smoothly, correcting the stainless steel tube, the outer surface of the stainless steel tube is less damaged and has the advantages of stopping in the middle position and “stepping”; when the subsequent process fails, the cooling bed can be Carry out in-situ “stepping” operation to ensure that the stainless steel tube cooled on the cooling bed does not bend and deform.
However, the stepping cooling bed has the disadvantages of large equipment quality, deep equipment foundation, and large investment. It is only used as a cooling bed in the high temperature section of the normalizing, normalizing + tempering process in the heat treatment production line.
(2) Double-chain cooling bed: ① The two-way double-chain cooling bed is composed of a forward-running claw chain and a reverse-running flat chain, and the stainless steel tube rotates forward during the cooling process; ② The one-way double-chain cooling bed is also composed of The claw chain and the flat chain are composed of the two running in the same direction at different speeds, and the speed difference makes the stainless steel tube rotate and cool during the forward process.
The double-chain cooling bed has less investment than the step-by-step cooling bed, and its cooling effect is basically the same as that of the step-by-step cooling bed. The double-chain cooling bed can be used for cooling in each temperature section of normalizing, normalizing + tempering, quenching and high temperature tempering processes.
(3) Single chain cooling bed: It is a one-way cooling bed with claw chain, and its running direction is the same as the advancing direction of the stainless steel tube. In order to ensure that the stainless steel tube keeps rotating and advancing during the cooling process, the claw chain and the advancing direction of the stainless steel tube are inclined at a certain angle . The cooling effect of the single chain cooling bed is worse than that of the stepping cooling bed and the double chain cooling bed, but it has the advantages of small equipment quality, simple equipment foundation and low investment, and is mostly used as a low temperature section cooling bed.
(4) Helical rod cooling bed: the rotation of the screw drives the stainless steel tube to rotate forward to realize the cooling of the stainless steel tube. The screw is easy to cause scratches and indentations on the outer surface of the stainless steel tube, which affects the quality of the finished stainless steel tube. It can be used when cooling in a low temperature area.
